Music Video Musings
ahh, nothing like writing a blog post at 1 a.m. Funny the things that cross my mind as I watch music videos from back in the day. There's probably better things that I could be doing with my time (like sleeping), but they're all less fun. Anyway...
- If I could have been 'the guy' in any music video, I think it'd be "Virtual Insanity" by Jamiroquai. Not only is the song catchy, but the floor is moving all over the place. It'd be fun to dance around a moving room while trying to dodge furniture. Or so I think now.
- Damn, I wish I was Sophie B. Hawkins' lover.
- It's funny, I think so many people would say that "Thriller" is the best music video of all time, but for me, the one I get the most enjoyment out of is "Around the World" by Daft Punk. I like to think about how long they must have rehearsed in those goofy costumes, then I think I'd probably be in it if it was offered.
- Nobody can rock a wife-beater, lanyard and cargo khakis like Kylie Minogue a la "Love at First Sight." Then sometimes the camera pans down and you can see her g ... ah hell, I gotta stop.
